Can I add YouTube videos to Viloud?

YouTube integration in Viloud is currently deprecated and disabled by default.

In the past, Viloud included a feature that allowed users to add videos from YouTube directly into the Content section. However, this functionality is no longer enabled by default.

Why is YouTube integration disabled?

At Viloud, we are currently focused on ensuring the best possible performance and reliability of the platform around its core use case: video workflows based on HLS/M3U8 streams.

Our priority is to keep the platform working at its best for the features and formats most used by our customers. Because of that, YouTube support is no longer part of the default setup.

Can I still use YouTube videos in Viloud?

Yes. Although the feature is deprecated and disabled by default, it can still be activated on request.

If you need to add YouTube videos to your Viloud account, please contact our support team or write us at help@viloud.tv. We'll review your request and help you enable the feature.

Important note

Please note that Viloud is primarily designed for professional video delivery workflows using HLS/M3U8 sources, and this is the format we actively prioritize and support.
